Hi, very reluctantly, we have been forced to look for new a home for our beloved cat 'Cloughy' due to one of the household having a recently diagnosed cat allergy. Cloughy is about 3 1/2 years old and is a stunning domestic shorthair.Cloughy is quite idiosyncratic, but with people she knows she loves nothing more than snoozing on their laps or snuggling on their shoulders. She is intelligent, athletic and very talkative (but full sentences have eluded her so far!)
For the right home, we are happy to contribute to the cost of upkeep, particularly for someone who is retired and can't afford a pet (where we would consider covering the all vet and food costs).
We've had Cloughy since she was a kitten and got her from the Cat Protection Society She is primarily an indoor cat but we let her out to explore during the daytime. She doesn't deal with other cats very well and so would not make a good companion cat to another cat (unless it was a kitten). She is desexed, chipped, and healthy and all her vaccinations are up to date.
The ideal adopter of Cloughy would be someone who has had cats before, has time to give her plenty of attention and has a back yard that she can explore in the daytime (although these aren't essential - its all about finding someone who can care for her).
